Strawberries with Milk Sauce….

good morning. 5 am and it’s time for the tssc users contest at ikumi beach. see you down there!!

before lunch yesterday, i had my favorite treat. strawberries with sweet condensed milk all over. i was going to eat it all but decided to save some for tony and seth. when they tried it in the evening, they liked it. who wouldn’t..

i would like to thank Dr. Sato-san from kagawa for stopping by my place to drop off my favorite udon. he said to share it with everybody but i don’t really want to. haha…

for the past 19 straight years, i haven’t missed one single cherry blossom season. 19 years of happiness….

our surf school was so awesome yesterday. the kids were ripping and everybody’s level went up a notch. thank you everybody for coming, and thank you everybody for helping. i wouldn’t doing this more often…
**and last, wanted to thank you all again for checking out my blog. i’ve met some amazing people through it and i’m thankful for that. it’s so good to see you all around the world. thank you very much….
and speaking of blogs, i just opened an amazing email from somebody that sent me one explaining how happy he is now. i’ll get to that later. but david, if your out there, i’m so happy for you!! congratulations on you new life and i’m sure we will meet someday. keep the dream alive!!!

Sweet Ichigo…

it’s amazing how big uchizuma was yesterday and how flat it is today. the boys had a great time out there…

there’s a really good okonomiyaki restaurant here in mugi. i love it there!!! after dinner, i was so full!!! thanks yasan..

we come here every year for the tssc contest. it’s my 15th straight year!!! it’s seth’s 3rd and counting!!!

my body gets really weird after eating out everyday and every night. so today, i could feel that i needed more vitamins. so i went to the market in kaifu to buy some. i got there at 9:20 am and it opens at 9:30 am. so i had to sit in the parking lot with all the grandma’s waiting. and when they opened the door, they all rushed in like it was a michael jackson concert or something. it was pretty cute. i bet the same grandma’s are there every single morning….

i bought strawberries and a pear for snack. then ika sushi and tofu for my lunch to go along with my yamari shirasu. oishikatta!!! all this cost me 1,230 yen or about $14.

i washed the strawberries and buried it in sweet condensed milk. it was soooo good!!! the strawberries in japan are the best! i just hope seth and tony doesn’t find it in the refrigerator. haha….
**anyway, tomorrow is the big day of the TSSC cup at uchizuma. the boys are practicing really hard and it’s going to be tough getting 1st place. the competition is stiff and i love it. minnasan ganbatte kudasai!!
