i went down to pick up my flight itinerary today. and while i was waiting, this poster caught my eye. i always wanted to visit india. not to surf, but just to explore. someday i will go there and i hope that someday will be soon….

yokoso means welcome in japanese. JAL has this campaign for tourist like me visiting japan. i can choose any airport and fly to any airport in japan for $100. yeah, a ticket from tokyo to okinawa cost $360 regular price so $100 a deal. or even a steal…

it’s the first time in my life i had a 3 page itinerary. i’m jumping on 12 airplanes in the next 42 days!!! i have to get ready for some crazy traveling!!! cant’ wait!

i don’t only shoot surfing and diving photos, i shoot lifestyle photos when ever i get the chance. yesterday, my friend was playing with his daughter so i just snapped a few photos. this is how fathers and daughters enjoy a sunny day in hawaii….

Tropical Hawaiian Day!!!

good morning. yesterday was my first day off since december so what do i do? go out and enjoy hawaii like a tourist!!!

i pick the nicest hotel in waikiki, i grab my camera and towel and soak up the sun!!! usually locals get kicked out of waikiki pools but yesterday, i wasn’t local, i was a japanese tourist. i couldn’t even speak english. haha…

see the first chair closest to me? that was mine. i couldn’t believe how beautiful hawaii was. and still can’t….

it’s so good to see tourist like me enjoying waikiki. these 2 girls were laughing and playing in the sandbar. imagine coming from cold japan to this? no wonder hawaii is so popular….

teaching kids how to surf is my favorite. i’ll do it on my day off, i’ll do it instead of taking a nap, and i’ll do it no matter how busy i am. just to see their smile makes every effort worth it. to me, photos like this are priceless. this is my friend brandon’s daughter marissa. what a cutie…

after watching channel 7 guy hagi’s weather report last week and seen kelia’s photos, this little 8 year girl was inspired. inspired to surf and be like kelia moniz. it’s amazing the power kelia moniz has on kids….
anyway, it’s pouring rain outside my ho use. north shore is 15′ and junky. town is small, almost flat. after the best winter season in the history of surfing on the north shore, i’d have to say this is the worst spring ever. the waves have been junky. ahhhh…. oh well, i guess it’s time to put all my north shore boards away and get out my 6’0’s that i’ll be using till october. anyway, have a nice day!!!
