この33年間、僕はダウンタウンのAAAへ行って、国際運転免許証を取得しているんだ。年に1度だから、33回目だね。外国で運転するためにそれが必要なんだ。特にインドネシアや日本ででね。インドネシアではこの免許証がなくても車やバイクをレンタルすることができるけど、警察に止められたら罰金を払わないといけない。しかも時々、その罰金は手持ちの現金で支払うことになる。日本ではこの免許証がないと車のレンタルさえできないんだ。しかも免許証なしで運転してしまうとトラブルになる。だから僕のアドバイスとして、いつも取得しなければならないってこと。20ドルと手続きは10分しかかからないんだ。

自分と一緒に自分自身のパスポートの写真を撮るか、追加料金15ドルでオフィスで写真を撮ることができるんだ。必ず笑顔でね。
