ビッグライツでの過去最大で史上最高セッションのある日、カーターとキモとビーチで待ち合わせをしてパドルアウトした。僕らは35年間ずっとこんなことをしていて、これからも変わらないだろう。

ビッグライツにはチャンネルがないから、アウトに出るのはかなり難しい。波の合間を進むことが唯一の方法。アウトに出る途中にボートを折りませんように。

これが僕のファーストウェーブで、最高だった。ビーチで歴史的なセッションを撮影してくれていたシークレットフォトグラファーに感謝したい。バックドアでサーフィンしているみたいだった。これから何年もこの日のストーリーについて聞くことになると思うよ…
