昨日の午後は超ファンだった！しゅうたくんという６歳の子を初めてのサーフィンに連れて行った。パドルアウトしたときは、ちょっと緊張していた。でも、僕が”ABCソング”を一緒に歌い始めたら、すこし緊張がとけたようだ。すごいキュート。２人で沖に出ながら”A,B,C,D,E…”って歌ってるところを想像してみて。haha.

そして”paddle!”と言った。一生懸命パドルしはじめた。波をキャッチしたあとの彼の表情を見てみて。this is pure stoke!!!

“stand up!”と叫んだら、しょうたくんは立ち上がり、パーフェクトに波に乗った!!!

すごく長く乗って、しょうたくんはストーク!!!

僕はキッズの純粋さが好き。海でこんなニセ笑いはできないはず。笑顔は自然にでてくる。

そしてしゅうたくんは子供らしくカメラに向かって、あかんべー。haha. 僕もこんな歳でもやるけど。haha.

しゅうたくんのパパも初めてのサーフィンだった！a very athletic and energetic man. パドリングのパワー、人生初の波をキャッチして立ち上がったのには驚いた。it was absolutely perfect!

Kuruhara-san caught another one, another one, and more, and more. so much energy and so much stoke.

surfing brings out the pureness in adults too. i usually take photos when nobody knows. so this smile is simply describing the way Kuruhara-san feels at this very moment.

thank you boys for the wonderful surf session! 彼らをピックアップする５分前まではずっと雨だったけど、みんなをドロップオフした５分後は、また雨が降り始めた。僕らはMr.Sunとサーフできて、超ラッキーだったよね!!! またみんなでサーフィンしましょう！aloha.
