North shore 3-5′ and coming up this afternoon.
Ala Moana shoulder high.
Diamond Head head high.
Light South/West winds so look for the clean spots.
Sunny and warm.
Going to the sea.

I get really excited when I see wild monkeys because it’s something you can’t experience in Hawaii.  On the road to a surf break in Taiwan, there were some monkeys sitting in the field.  So we stopped and I got out my camera.  

To the right of them was a banana patch.  Monkeys are known to be very smart so we kind of knew what they were up to.  

Sure enough, one of the bigger monkeys grabbed a bunch of bananas from the tree and started to eat it.

So cool watching them pick one at a time, peel it, and eat it.  

I love watching things in nature like this.
