good morning. 7am windy junky rainy saturday morning. the waves are terrible and not even surfable out in the north shore. nobody’s out anywhere but they have to run the haleiwa pro. yes, the contest is on @ 8;30am. i don’t know if it’s even worth driving out to watch it. i hope some japanese are still in the contest because the will rip the conditions like this. anyway, it’s days like today that makes me glad i don’t have to surf contests anymore. it’s a whole new ballpark out there. good luck to all the competitors. the winds and rain are super strong out of the north so if your going out there, take warm clothes and an umbrella. as for town, flat as a pancake…. have a wonderful day….

and last, be careful when driving on the north shore bypass. there was a cop with a radar gun yesterday morning around 9:30am. i took this photo and when the cop seen me, he looked pissed. lucky i was driving like a good boy….

good evening. what a nice day it was on the north shore. small waves but super clean. the waves in the morning were head high but by this evening, it dropped to knee high. they want to finish up the contest at haleiwa tomorrow so hope the swell comes while we’re sleeping. oh, big rain storm on the way too. i took some cool photos today. hopefully i can download them in time to show you some. if not late tonight, tomorrow for sure….

after nao arrived this morning, she told me that she wanted to surf. so surf is what we did. 2 sessions. one at off the wall, and one at rocky point.

there were so many jelly fish out at off the wall this morning. kelia got hit the worst. her arm was trashed…. kawaiso….

after kelia got stung by the jellyfish, i told her to get her ass back out there and work. this is kelia at work. gosh, it’s so cool to see everybody’s surfing getting better and better every time i surf with them. i’m stoked for these kids…
we surfed rocky point in the evening and the waves were dropping pretty fast. but don’t worry, i just checked the buoy and it’s coming right back up. tomorrow heavy rain with epic conditions. more photos tomorrow and full gallery coming up in a couple of days. good night….[:Zzz:][:Zzz:]
