Mini South Swell continues…

Good morning 4am.
Ala Moana waist high and good.
Diamond Head chest high and bumpy.
Trade winds at 15mph.
Sunny and warm.
Going to the sea.

We thought the waves were going to be smaller today but luckily, we were wrong.  Bigger and better than yesterday!

Izuhara-san’s first time surfing in Hawaii so it was cool to see him riding some super long waves.

3 years of surfing experience and today was his best ride of his life.  Right board plus right wave equals great time!  

Today the girls took out their smaller boards and excelled.  

Lucky morning surf session with the most beautiful conditions.

Then Round 2 again at Bowls.  High tide so long rights and lefts.  Another epic day of surfing.  Goodnight.

My grand nephew is only 1 year old but acts like a 10 year old.  The cutest thing!

You have to have some talent to be able to take a car apart like this and put it all back together.  I come home from surfing and see my brother working on this car.  Then an hour later I see the car driving down the street.  How?

In some countries, nothing goes to waste.  They eat everything including tails and eyeballs.  I was walking through this market in Cambodia and I will never forget the smell.

I had 3 eye surgeries.  The first one they made a mistake so I had to have surgery on the same eye again.  This was my third surgery and I remember telling the Doctor “please make sure you operate on the right eye.”  He said “yes” but didn’t know he actually wrote “yes” above my eye.  Thankfully he got it right.
