When you paddle out first thing in the morning and see a turtle, that means good luck.  I wonder what seeing two turtles mean?  Double good luck?  One of the kids spotted one so I took this photo and found out there were two! 

Yesterday we looked for a spot to do some Boot Camp.  The more challenging the wave, the more smarter you will get.  These girls are learning really fast how to surf anything and everything.  Choose the right board and you will succeed.  Choose the wrong board and you will be a buoy. 

Some of the longest rides in Hawaii.  Find a good one and that could be the longest wave of your life.

Monday morning at the office.  The best office in the world.

The surfboards are getting smaller and the confidence is getting bigger.

It was a pleasure to surf with Rio-san today.  She’s from Japan so I asked her why her English was perfect and she said “I graduated from Kaiser High School.”  OMG!!!!  That’s the same high school I went to!  We actually were in the same school at the same time.  I was glad that she didn’t remember me because I was a terrible student.  I didn’t even like myself.

A graduate from Kaiser High that surfs.  All morning long I was singing the “Alma Mater” in my head over and over.  All hail, Kaiser High!
