June 24, 2018 Hawaii Surf Report

I want to go to Niigata!!! This is so beautiful!

Good morning 6am.
Tiny waves today.
Ala Moana knee high and clean.
Diamond Head waist high and bumpy.
Strong trade winds at 25mph.
Sunny and warm.
Have a wonderful day!

Lowtide and Hightide Ok!

super fun time surfing with Ishikawa-san all day. he only started surfing a year ago and is hooked on surfing. going every week and loving it. today was his first day of Boot Camp and after a few tips, his surfing couldn’t be better. perfect style and perfect rides…

look how beautiful the waves, weather, water, and surfing was!

seen a baby turtle popping up all morning long.

the last ride of the morning after over 3 hours of surfing.

then went to eat some hulihuli chicken protein filled up our stomachs for round 2.

high tide in the afternoon and even longer rides.

we surfed Bowls and Ishikawa-san must have totaled over 30 waves for today.

a very strong man, a very happy man, and a very good surfer man! thank you for the awesome day of surfing!

Kiss Me Goodnight…

opps. forgot to post this. here it is:

want to thank my niece Kelia again for inviting me over for dinner. i could feel the love in the food, and i could feel the love in the air. it was the happiest Father’s Day ever…

local style dinner. just come, grab a plate, and eat as much as you want…

the artwork at Kelia’s house is cool too. i love this painting…

Seth playing with the kids. tomorrow Seth will be flying to South Africa for a big contest.

Noah Junior. the cutest kid…

Mateus is so young but he already can tell me jokes. he might be a comedian. haha.

paddled out to Bowls yesterday and got super good waves! lots of people, but since we love people, it’s all good!

Asayama-san caught the set of the day. the biggest right came in and i yelled “go!”

he turned and made it all the way in. it was incredible!

Maki-san seen it all so was explaining to Asayama-san how big and good that wave was. look at him smile!

Kelia tells me to meet her out at Bowls at 8am. we go out at 8am, then she comes out at 10am? i get back to my phone to check my messages and it says “uncle, just got up. leaving now.” that was at 8:30am!! haha. Hawaiian style… but it’s never too late to see the sweetest girl in the world…
