flying on a very small and cheap airplanes in Third World countries is a gamble. especially if you’re a surfer because there’s no space for your surfboards. so normal airlines will send it on the next flight which could be days away.
or if you’re lucky, they will pile the surfboards in the airplane. they actually took out the seats on one side and put our boards there. other local passengers were kind of baffled. i was too. haha. but when you’re flying to small remote islands, you need your surfboards.
