left at dark this morning and took Aoi-kun surfing on the north shore. i knew he was nervous when i told him we’ll be surfing at Pipeline. it was actually bigger than i thought so i’m sure that made him even more nervous. he started to gain confidence and it was good to see him feeling more comfortable out there. waves super fun and if you get the good one, you will get the barrel of your life. i pulled in at Backdoor and came out at Off The Wall. super stoked! then we went to V-Land and it was perfect! double barrels on every wave and only kids out. scored all morning long! then came back to town and jumped on Mayuki all afternoon till dark. so tired now!
when there are long lines, everybody gets interested, including me. so when i heard about the new ice cream place, i had to check it out. waited in line forever!
once i finally got in the door, i was wondering what all the hype was.
custom made ice cream?
choose your own? that’s a great idea!
then the mix the ingredients and start making the ice cream right in front of your eyes.
who ever thought of this is a genius!
i ordered the mini cup mocha ice cream. cost me $5.50 and i was pretty dam happy! will i go back there again? probably not because i don’t like to wait in lines except if it’s for good ramen in Japan.
and these treats from Hokkaido taste better anyway. thank you Matsumoto-san!
