had the most amazing morning yesterday surfing with Abe-san. yes it was raining, but “no rain, no rainbows right?”
from the time we pulled up, the full rainbow was freaking amazing. so bright and so beautiful.
and it just wouldn’t go away. it was one of the most beautiful rainbows i seen in a very long time.
we were just surfing and enjoying nature. some showers, some sun, some wind, and very few people. a perfect Sunday in paradise.
this was the photo i pictured in my mind when we were paddling out. and when the moment came, i just pushed the shutter and here it is! i just love it!
morning sunrise surfing makes me feel so good. it’s the best way to start out a wonderful day!
i surfed with Abe-san for many years. yesterday i was puzzled because he was surfing much better than last time. i know he doesn’t surf in Japan so i asked him “wow, you’re surfing so good today. what happened?” he said “i read your blog the other day about raising your front hand higher while surfing. so i tried it today and it worked!” haha. good job Abe-san!
then went for the hot pho to warm up our bodies.
the oxtail pho was amazing! so good!!!
thank you Abe-san for the wonderful morning and delicious food from Ishinomaki! enjoy the rest of your Hawaiian vacation!
