right when i left the harbor, i could see the dolphins jumping outside in the blue water. there were no boats or no people around so the dolphins were at peace. i glide up slowly and they come to Mayuki and swim around. it was so therapeutic.
i had a lucky guest that loves to swim with dolphins. no, it was not planned, it was just pure luck from nature. one person swimming in the ocean playing with the dolphins. i sat on Mayuki thinking “you so lucky!”
the foil craze is here! Micah and i live next door to each other so all we talk about these days is foiling. he just wants to get better and better. so do i.
and the only way to get better is to erase your fear. yeah, i got hurt, but that’s life. i could have quit like a lot of other people do. but i teach my students never to quit, or never to say never. so i must be an example of that. so yesterday, i was freaking flying so high, i was screaming like a little kid having the time of his life.
Micah took some video and he was laughing at me. haha. this is the exact facial expression i have when i see my students getting so excited. something great to experience as a instructor.
good food is a must after a good session. i went to eat at this new restaurant called “Aki” that is near my house. the food was good, but $16 was kind of expensive.
want to thank Kobayashi-san for the wonderful treats from Hokkaido! going to make some sushi hand rolls tonight!
