Playing with Fire in Deep Japan

236

seems like the more and more i come to Japan, the deeper and deeper i experience the culture. check out this shop in Tokyo. right side is the kitchen, and left side is the hallway.

i watched a guy walk in and couldn’t believe how narrow it was. both of his shoulders were rubbing both walls.

i followed him in and had to walk sideways. no way i could fit walking in like this. haha.

something interesting.

fresh uni!

spent the day driving deep into Wakayama. went to visit our friend Yuske-san up at the temple. sat in his living room enjoying the culture, and enjoying the laughs.

every since i burnt down the mountain in back of my house when i was 5 years old, i continue to have a fascination for fire. maybe because i’m cold? or maybe because i’m curious. either way, i like to be the one in control of any fire…

another very long day in Japan. so sleepy and so happy. great vacation so far…
