shortly after we took this photo in the Jazz Bar, i fell asleep on my seat. waking up at 2:30am was way to early for me. the rest of the night was a blur… but a very fun blur…
next morning breakfast. omg, so good!
then an hour drive into deep Wakayama.
this temple is over 500 years old. it’s amazing how they even built this huge building back in those days.
Wakayama equals Marutaya. the best of the best.
good to have lunch with owner Seigo-san. and good to see him as a young successful businessman. and of course, a surfer.
Kimura-san has some antiques i hope to bring back to Hawaii someday. then fix it up myself. this is one of them.
and this is another. i would love to take this apart and clean piece by piece. so cool!
jumped on my flight, closed my eyes, and woke up in heaven.
Mateus came to pick me up from the airport. i was so happy to see him!
driving home to the mountains. it was a beautiful 2 day trip that i’ll remember for a very long time.
brought some Yamari back to Hawaii and eating some over hot rice right now! itadakimasu!
