goto-san was super happy to have met the legend Ben Aipa….

Ben Aipa was my coach back in the 80’s when i use to ride for Town and Country. he’s the one that taught me how to be aggressive, how to get waves, and how to make heats in contests. in other words, i use to be an asshole when i surfed contests. now, we only can laugh about it. haha…

okinawa soba saiko!

good morning, i can’t believe how cold it is here in japan. i packed 2 walk shorts and 3 t-shirts in my suitcase and i don’t think i’ll be needing them. i better call up akazawa-san at spice to get some spice winter collection clothes[:???:]
i haven’t had time to check my emails recently so sorry if your waiting for a reply. all i’ve been doing is eating, eating, and eating. and working on the next web magazine. been super busy but want to get everything done before i get back in the water. that’s when i’m going to catch as many waves and surf as long as i can. but for now, it’s just eat and work….

i want to thank morigen-san again for another awesome photo of the waves in the japan sea. gosh, i wish i was there. if fact, i might have to go there next week. i just ordered my 3mm full dry suit from dove along with boots. and since i can’t get my eye wet, i have my mask and snorkel ready. it might be the first time people in japan see a surf/diver surfer. that’s how desperate i’m getting. but really, i might jump in a car next week and head down to the japan sea to surf/dive surf, shoot photos, and eat good food. maybe see you there….

*and last, it’s the countdown to the begin concert. yup, 3 more days and i’ll be going to one of my dream concerts. Begin in Okinawa!!! i heard this song for the first time in september and i told myself that i will memorize every word before the concert day. i’m almost there. i just hope they don’t play this song when i’m using the bathroom or something. that would suck.. haha..
