New Reef Girls Posters….

good morning. the waves finally came down but it’s still super fun. i’m pretty surfed out but still want to surf. know what i mean? this is japan so it there are waves, i surf. and when it gets flat, i wish i surfed more. so i’m going to surf everyday until the waves get flat. i heard from my sister that there is a south and north swell rolling into hawaii. i was jealous until i looked at the forecast and seen 2 potential typhoons forming near the philippines. i guess i ain’t going back to hawaii anytime soon. anyway, i’m going surfing. have a nice day…

hey, the tsurigasaki billabong ASP WQS 4 star event is coming up this month. sept. 24-27th to be exact. check out the poster jasmin designed. great job jasmin…

this photo is for toda-san. toda-san is into airplanes and stuff. i thought this was an amazing photo taken in moscow….

this photo is for muslims. this is ramadan. ramadan is the month of fasting when muslims learn self-control and sympathy for the hungry. and it’s happening right now….

and this photo is for people that like fake asses. gosh, there’s gotta be silicone in there…..

Japanese Poke Bowl….

i’m not your typical photographer. i don’t just shoot famous pro surfers. i shoot anybody. i don’t know who this is but this guy has a nice surf style. gosh, it felt good to be back in the water with my fisheye. water shots are the best. you can really feel this round house cutback…

remember i went sightseeing yesterday? i took off the main road and drove into this little tiny fishing village. it was so old school that my car barley fit through the streets. and when i came across this little bay with all these boats parked right in front of the houses, i thought to myself “i would love to live in a place like this when i retire”…. next year? i wish…. but this place was super magical. it felt like right out of an old samurai movie or something. i thought i was going to see abarenbo shogun run out with his samurai sword and cut up my car….

taka-san caught fresh katsuo and gave 2 to me to bring home. matchi was nice enough to cut it up for me. i cut it into cubes, mixed it with some shoyu, ponzu, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and put it over hot rice. i had an instant “Poke Bowl”…. a good team effort. thanks guys…

and last, i have a problem. i double booked two tickets. i don’t know where should i go? ummm….. i was on the phone with JAL for a long time yesterday trying to get a flight out of japan. i didn’t know that there was a holiday called silver week? i know golden week, but silver week? what’s next? bronze week? anyway, the journey continues….
