**oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!!!!!! [:????????????:][:????????????:][:????????????:] i was playing with the settings on my new olympus camera and accidently erased all the video i took from the awesome boat party the other day. i’m so shocked!!! was planning to make some killer clips so i actually took a lot of video. ahhhhhhhhh….. ok, now i got it out. i feel much better…. luckily i took my good camera to capture the feeling… check out the beautiful mermaid waitresses at sea…
ok, what is this? this girl had the best costume out there. at first, i laughed. then after a couple beers, i thought it was pretty cool…
the vibe out there was awesome. beers flowing all over the place. a few girls came up to my boat and asked for some beers. i said “go away and don’t bother us’. yeah right… haha…
there were so many girls on my friend brandon’s boat. i guess when you got the band on the boat, the chicks will come…
i thought this was cool. this girl paddled out from the beach with her corona beer on her longboard. whatever works right?
i ordered 2 bud lights and it came pretty dam fast. what great service…. now to all my friends who didn’t make it. you guys blew it big time…. BIG TIME….
Waikiki "Floatilla" Video Lost Forever….
Chen Bo Lin in Hawaii….
good morning. 7:15am on this sunny monday morning. gosh, it’s so beautiful outside now. light winds, no clouds, but small waves. pretty much flat. finally can get things done around here. better get started… have a nice day…
ok girls, stop drooling. this photo was taken of me when i was 18 years old. haha. it’s a joke… this is chen bo lin. this 25 year old guy is a superstar actor/singer/model in china. he’s your takuya kimura of japan, and your yon-samma of korea. but with way more fans…. anyway, he came to hawaii for a photo shoot with kelia and some of the roxy girls a few weeks ago. the article just came out in a huge publication in china. now, millions of chinese will be able see kelia. what a huge boost in her career. it turned out to be 8 pages and here are the first 3. the magazine is called “milk magazine”. huh?
page 1. since i can’t read chinese, i will make up my own captions. “i wonder if kelia knows how famous this guy is. she must be thinking how can such a skinny white skin guy that can’t speak english be so famous? what’s up with china? talk to the hand”….
“a day in waikiki. if you love tropical weather, blue water, sunny skies, and a lot of girls in bikini’s, get your ass over here to waikiki. yobaseo… oh, i mean ni hao….”
“for the mountains, naturally…. remember that famous line from the song naturally sung by kalapana? walk up waimea valley singing that song in your head and you might pass out from pure happiness….”
**the other pages coming soon…. xie xie….
Kiki's Bar and Grill: Honolulu, Hawaii
good evening. gosh, what another picture perfect day here in hawaii. had a photo shoot this morning in waikiki. i caught the bus down there… not…
if there is anywhere in the world with bluer skies then this, please let me know because i want to go there. you can walk down the street here in hawaii and accidently press the camera shutter. that photo could end up being a keeper. just like this one.. hawaii no ka oi….
how’s this. why would you want to be anywhere else? why? this guy had the right idea. i was surfing the wave when i took this photo. a guy was paddling over it while another guy was snorkeling. just another day in the ocean….
**been going to kiki’s after hours ever since it opened. it’s a place to hang out with locals, shoot pool, play darts, drink cheap jacksan, and talk to beautiful waitresses. haha…
meet some of the ohana…. thanks guys for the drinks that night. it was pretty funny because we were talking about longboarding, bodyboarding, and surfing because each guy was either one or the other. those guys were asking me which one was better. i told them whatever makes you feel good. just riding a wave period gives you the feeling. anyway, the guy wearing the gray quiksilver t-shirts name is shane hamamoto. i met shane 5 years ago. how? i caught a big fish and wanted to get it printed, gyotaku style. so my dive friend randy gave me shane’s number and that was it. done deal….
shane makes awesome gyotaku prints and this one is hanging on my wall right above my computer. when ever i look at it, i can clearly remember this big boy sticking his head out from under the ledge. after i shot him in the head, this huge eel came out and attacked it. look at the teeth marks under his belly. this was one of my first big ulua’s so i didn’t want to lose it. i fought with the eel and won, which was pretty stupid. but if i gave my fish up to the eel, this print wouldn’t be here. and i wouldn’t have met shane. so i guess that was a smart thing to do after all…. like they say, “everything happens for a reason”….. thanks shane….
