i was on the North shore again in the dark early morning.  today’s foil session was my best ever.  i rode the fastest wave of my life so far and it felt amazing!

whale season is here so please be careful out there.  check out this photo of a whales tail i took from behind.  it looks exactly like my foil!  so cool!

Joshua finally came home!  i was so excited that i waited 2 hours in front of his house.  i might have looked like a stalker, but i just needed to give my nephew a big hug.  he told me the detailed story of his accident, he showed me the video of the wave, and he explained to me how he survived.  it’s pretty crazy what he had to go through.  this experience is only going to make this kid stronger.  i’m so happy to see him smiling.  and i was happy to see my sister smiling too.  i want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who was concerned about Joshua that texted, emailed, or called me.  i’m sure he’s very thankful for all you guys too.  love all you guys…
