i was watching the waves this afternoon and it got super good on the high tide!  lots of waves and only a few of us happy ocean people enjoying it!

good to see Barry flying on his foil!  who said Summer is over?

i still can’t believe how similar foiling is surfing now.  i can do the longest and smoothest turns of my life!   and thanks to the high tide, i can fly anywhere in the afternoons…

i saw another school of Omilu today.  they were swimming right under my foil and stayed around for a while.  omg i wish i had my spear!  i’m craving some fresh sashimi!!!

there’s a popular series on Netflix called “Clickbait.”   it’s about a guys video that was uploaded on social media and if it hits 5 million views, he will die.  so of course, everyone clicked on it.  this is the world we live in.  if somebody says don’t click it, people click it.  even if a guy is going to die.  the series is about fake accounts, identity theft, and the negative side of social media.  after i finished watching it, i thought to myself thank goodness i don’t do social media.  you don’t know what or who to believe these days.  and once again, I DO NOT HAVE A FACEBOOK OR INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT!!!  it’s fake!  so don’t DM or what ever that means to me…

i just love this photo of Dean on his bodyboard at Bowls.  first, i use to bodyboard before i started surfing so i still think this is cool.  second, can you see that little wave breaking up the wave?  that’s is Mother Nature at it’s best.  i love it!
