Wet Dreams

recently, the weather has been so windy, rainy, stormy, and wild.  this is like a dream for us foilers.  when i’m paddling out, i can’t see a thing.  the wind and rain blowing into my eyes making it sting.  it’s pretty amazing to be able to connect with nature with extreme conditions like this.  i love every minute of it!

when it’s sunny, it’s beautiful and crowded.  but when it’s stormy and wild, only the strong come out to play.  i’m watching nature blow the stand up paddlers to their knees.  you’re fighting the wind, rain, and current, sometimes not even moving.  but when you have determination, anything is possible.  try doing this everyday for 6 hours straight, then you will understand how strong your mind can be.  Henry battling the storm…

omg, Santa came to my house and dropped off an early Christmas present!  yeah, i’m so happy!!!

World Champion Flyer

another day, another Jurassic Park experience.  showed up in the dark and was loving what i was seeing.

the waves were absolutely perfect!!!  check out Robbie Miyashiro ripping!

when Kaiborg paddles for a wave, nobody even tries to go.  that’s what you call “respect.”

my friends Robbie and Fabian.  if it wasn’t for foiling, i wouldn’t see these guys so often.  i see them more then my own family.  haha.

i was talking diving story with Henry today.  super cool diver/foiler that foils everyday.  come to find out, he is super good friends with one of the North shore boys i use to play with when i was a kid.  what a small world…

Robbie let me borrow one of his foils today and i felt a whole new experience.  maybe that’s why i foiled for 5 hours today!

good to see Australian World Champion Surfer Barton Lynch out there today.  he’s a super cool Aussie that loves to foil these days. nice guy too!
