Friday night sailboat races ON…

Good morning 4:15am.
North shore chest high and bumpy.
Ala Moana waist to chest high and offshore.
Diamond Head head high and stormy.
East side big and windy.
Strong trade winds at 30mph.
Sun, clouds, showers, and rainbows.
Going to foil.

left home at 5am and very excited to spend another day in the ocean.  

it was stormy and very windy.  but it’s days like this i love the most.  and it’s days like this only the crazy go out to play.  

my first 4 waves, i had bad wipeouts.  absolutely no power from overdoing it yesterday.  but after my legs started to feel good and i was so excited.  the feeling of the wind and rain stinging your eyes, you have to connect and everything will be alright…

shortboard, longboard, or foilboard.  it’s a big ocean out there so everybody can enjoy.  once again, one of the most beautiful places on the planet…

it was pretty cool to see this old family photo.  that’s my Mom and Sister.  now Tammy looks like young Mom, and Kelia looks like young Tammy.  pretty strong DNA…

and i don’t know which one of us this is.  us 3 brothers looked so alike when we where kids.  i’m guessing this is Mason?  thank goodness it wasn’t me.  haha…

fast forward till today.  we are all 3 grown adults acting like little kids in the mountains.  my sister sent me this photo and when i look at it, i can understand why she told me not to sit on that rock.  if it breaks, i will fall 2000 feet backwards and die.  so yeah, my sister still looks after me after all these years.

next generation.  Kaira’s been helping me watering the yard.  this is what Kelia exactly use to look like at this age.  pretty classic…
