Small but Beautiful…
Good morning 4am.
Ala Moana chest high and good. Bigger than yesterday.
Diamond Head shoulder high and bumpy.
Trade winds at 20mph.
Sunny and warm.
Going surfing!
Have a wonderful day!

ok, i finally went through all of my surfboards. i sold some, gave some away, and these are all the ones i will keep. i’ll never ever get rid of a magic board and i have lots of them!
now i have to get rid of fins i’ve been accumulating over the years.
i only kept a couple and the rest i will donate. i’ve been cleaning up and getting rid of so many junk. it feels so refreshing!
the boys are experts in finding and catching dinner. i just have to put in the order and wait on the boat now days. haha.
not only do i love to watch the boys spear fish, i love to hear their plan on how they will eat each fish. for these, it’s sashimi for the red, and deep fry for the black.
thanks to this pandemic, i’ve been getting into gardening. so i’ve been driving around the island learning about plants. this old Chinese lady showed me her garden and explained what each plant was. i love learning about new things!
she got used tires and used that as pots. so clever!
this is her calamansi plant. it’s a sour tangerine fruit that Filipinos love. i guess it’s equivalent to sudachi fruit Japanese love.
and check out his little pineapple! so cute!
anyway, i took home a calamansi plant and when it fruits, i will squeeze it over the fresh fish i grill. i tried it in the Philippines before so i can’t wait to try it at home!
