very sad news to hear that my dear friend for 30 years passed away suddenly.  Akazawa-san started Spice Clothing and sponsored me for many years.  had good times traveling throughout Japan, on Indonesia boat trips, and many special occasions.  i will never forget the kindness of this man and i will never forget his soul.  being stuck here in Hawaii and not being able to say goodbye in Japan made my heart hurt even more.  i’m only going to think about the good times we had because there were so many…and one of the good times was on a boat trip to North Sumatra.  Akazawa-san surfed, i took photos.  we were totally living our dream lives as surfers.  just going with the flow with no regrets.  i will surely miss this amazing brother.  and i will continue to live my life exactly how he would have wanted me to.  goodbye Akazawa-san…
