i got the text at 4am this morning.  time and place was determined by Kaiborg.  my body was thinking about taking a break, but my mind was saying don’t be foolish.  jumped in the truck and headed out at 4:30am!pulled up in the dark.  the full moon was shining on the ocean like it was fake or something.  it was so beautiful!  we were the first out and had the whole ocean to ourselves!  Peter King on the first full moon ride…then the 3 of us shared waves from start to finish.  if you were on the beach, you would probably hear us 3 kids laughing like we’re at Disneyland or something.  it was so amazing taking off from the full moon, and riding into the sunrise…Kaiborg is 100% dedicated to the foil.  this is what you call “power foiling.”  Peter is a professional videographer.  he puts his footage all over social media but i can’t see it.  he told me to open a fake account so i can at least see it.  i told him “no thank you.”  haha.  i love my non-social life too much…

foiled with Peter King again.  good foiler, and probably the funniest guy you’ll ever meet… i foiled a lot with Peter in Australia last year.  ever since then, all we talk about it the WCT, Foiling, and equipment.  and we can talk for hours and hours…so happy to see Gavin catching dinner!  before the coronavirus, he’d be studying in college, but because of the coronavirus, he’s been studying about the ocean.  and he will never forget what he’s learned for the rest of his life…check this out.  this is survival of the fittest…thank you Shin-san for sending me a photo of Yugawara.  i have some great memories there!  miss all you boys!check out the U.S.A.  tons of people everywhere forgetting we are living in a pandemic now.  record high positive coronavirus cases and getting worst.  come on guys, stay home!   if this doesn’t get better soon, i can’t travel to anywhere this year!  so stay home!!!
