good to see everybody in Japan being able to surf again.  the ocean fixes everything…it’s been foilers paradise.  all we need is a little wave and life is good…Glen Pang loving life…i still have crazy wipeouts.  right when i think i’m doing good, i do bad.  that’s foiling…my Japanese friends asking me when they can come back to Hawaii.  well, nothing is guaranteed yet, but i’m guessing mid-July is when Hawaii will open to Japanese again.  you better let me know ahead of time because i might be flying to Japan when you come to Hawaii.  when this lockdown is over, i’ll be the first guy on a flight out of here…

 was working around my house and i hear Mateus say “unko, what are you doing?”  i asked him if he wanted to help me.  he came out, made me laugh, watered the garden, and ate french fries.  thanks boy! Gen is really into spearfishing now so he wants to do everything himself.  i taught him how to tie the bands so now he can save lots of money by doing it himself.   this knot is very hard to tie.  it takes practice but once you can do it, a knot like this is very useful and could save your life someday..i’ve been watching the most beautiful sunsets!  just sitting back looking at the colors change by the second.  this is the best way to end a wonderful day!when i teach surfing, i tell everybody to “paddle!!!”  i tell them to paddle hard like it’s your last wave of your life.  this is exactly what i’m doing right here.  i give my 100% all the time!  and in this case, it paid off because this wave happened to be my best ride of the day…
