i took a ride up my street to check out the latest in the ground shifting.  it’s getting worst and worst by the day.  it’s hard to believe what’s happening.the home owners are blaming the Board of Water Supply because of a leaking underground pipe.  then some are saying it’s happening naturally.  nobody wants to take blame.then this mega-house is next door and will be the next to crumble down.when the foundation is caving in like this, the whole house has a chance of falling over.  and the scary part is there are like 20 people still living in the house.  rent must be really cheap.

Diamond Head was looking pretty good today.  head high sets and amazingly only 8 surfers out.  where is everybody???Matsuo-san sent me this photo of a ramen shop i always go to when i’m in Fujisawa.  it’s right near the police station.good to see everybody else enjoying it too!  good to see the Rise and Shine surf crew!OMG, when i first saw this photo, i couldn’t believe it!  this is Nao-san surfing in Japan’s winter with Mt. Fuji in the background.  Matsuo-san took it and i’m pretty jealous right now.  i would love to have a photo like this…i’m starting to miss the shoyu chicken plate at Pupukea Grill.  maybe i’ll go out there this week.somebody asked me if i ever seen a Komodo Dragon before.  yes i did.  not only did i see 10 of them, i seen them eat a deer in minutes!  it’s kind of crazy to think that if one of these bite you, you will die.  after i left this island in Indonesia, i told myself i will never go back!
