Hangover of Memories…

last night headed up the street to my friends house for a couple of beers.  that couple of beers turned out to more than a couple of beers…

i took up a bottle of brandy/umeshu which we all love to drink.  you can only get this at Duty Free at the airports in Japan.  once you start to drink this, you won’t be able to stop.  the only reason we stopped is because we ran out.  haha…

these girls are my foundation.  we’ve been the best of friends since we were 12 years old.  went to junior high together, high school together, and many life experiences together.  yet, we’re still around laughing at all the stupid things we use to do as kids.  we sat on a table for 6 hours again catching up on our lives.  thank you Candace and Holli for always being in my life and supporting me the whole way.  if it wasn’t for you girls, i’d probably be in jail.  haha.  love you girls…

Happy Place Photos

still lots of photos sitting on my desktop and time to clean it up.  check out his photo of all the Yugawara boys when we went to Drive Through Japan.  look at Seth and Shun!  so cute!!!  i can’t believe they are super surf stars now!Seth use to always love to play with kids, even though he was still a kid himself.  this is the part of his personality everybody loves…now the Rookie of the Year for the World Surfing League?  that’s crazy to even think about…i haven’t been on a boat trip recently.  i use to go a few times a year and i’m starting to miss it very much.  i miss the waves, the exploring, the diving, the food, and most of all, the friends…i got off a boat once in the Maldives and walked around this tiny little island.  i couldn’t believe how beautiful the people were.  just so simple and so pure…  ordered a couple Akila Apia’s.  can’t wait to get them…all the boys are planning to ride deep into the mountains this weekend.  i’m not too sure if i’m ready for that challenge because i know they will leave me behind.  and i don’t like to be left behind so i’ll go faster than i can handle.  a scary thought…after all the traveling for the past 30 years, this is my happy place…
