A new way to fly!!! Yeah!
Good morning 6:20am.
North shore head high and super bumpy.
Ala Moana chest high and windy, but good.
Diamond Head overhead and bumpy.
Trade winds at 25mph.
Clouds and sun coming back later.
Going surfing.
Have a wonderful day!

i heard the sky has been gray for the longest time but it’s good for us. there are much less people on the ocean so the more waves for us! Ryu-san rather have this wave to himself then with guys all around right?
i took out my foil today because i wanted something different.
and this is different! i can fly around the lineup and take photos from various angles. look at Suzuki-san’s beautiful wave!
Suzuki-san bought a foil in Japan and started to foil. so we were training how to foil surf on a surfboard. this is the exact way!
Li-san backside rides at Bowls. this is how you’re supposed to lean into a turn.
Ryu-san knows to look forward when i’m flying by him with my foil. and keeping calm too as i say “cheese!” haha…
went for a hot bowl of pho. want to thank the Doctor Surfers for the fun time in the grey sky. hopefully Mr. Sun will come back tomorrow for us but either way, it’s all good!
no matter which country i travel to, i’m always looking for the fish market. and when i find it, my eyes are wide open. look at all these tako!
gosh, there must be so many tako in Korea. maybe one Summer i’ll go free dive there.
and most of the fish i haven’t even seen before. umm, a dive trip would be interesting…
you can walk around and choose what ever you want them to cook for you.
then since it’s freezing cold, you enter these little clear tents and try to keep warm.
this is what i ate! fresh raw oysters!!!
and i finally got to eat tako that was still alive! it was moving all over the plate and crawling around in my stomach all night!
another street leading into another colorful arcade.
don’t all me what this was because i don’t know. do you?
