after all the days of Boot Camp, today was the time to make a huge leap.  and Ryu-san always likes taking the leap!Suzuki-san looking forward and putting his board on the rail.  Li-san went up a few levels in these few days.  he’s starting to put his arms and hands in the perfect place.  and when you lead off with your leading arm, everything else will follow.  just like this.this is absolutely perfect backside surfing.  it’s the exact same way the pro surfers do it…then you do the off the lip and the spray will follow.  so nice!then after your put your arms and hands in the right place, you can now start using your lower body muscles and this is where all the power comes from. and when you have a powerful man like Ryu-san, you will turn a 9’6 like a shortboard.  sweet!thank you boys for looking forward and keeping your hands in the right spot.  see you guys before sunrise tomorrow morning.  goodnight!

after Tony, Micah, Kelia, Joe, Seth, and Mason got their new bikes, i thought it was my time.  and that time was yesterday!  sweet…the 3 of us left our house at 5pm and zipped all around town.  on the streets, on the sidewalks, on the bike paths, and on the green hills.  these bikes go 50mph or 80km.  that’s almost like flying around!   my brother is a typical guy who gets hooked on anything and everything.  now it’s all about these E-bikes.  here he is trying to jump the hill right into the ocean.  haha…Micah, my brother, and i are 3 next door neighbors.  so yeah, if you see 3 guys flying around town on these bikes, you know who that is. and the cool thing about it is it burns no fuel.  so yeah, we are going eco friendly and saving the planet!
