Ala Moana Bowls Parking Problem…

ALERT! the State wants to take away 125 free parking at Ala Moana Bowls. there is a meeting today so please go and attend if you have time. i would go for sure if i was in Hawaii now but that’s not the case. i surf Bowls all the time and love the free parking. but growing up in Hawaii and seeing free parking turning into paid parking, it’s a part of life. sad, but it’s part of life. one of the major problem at Bowls is so many people are taking advantage of the limited free parking for beach users. i see hotel workers and construction workers parking at Bowls everyday all day long when they’re not supposed to. what’s the solution? if i were in charge, i would simply enforce the current law. i would ticket and tow every car that isn’t supposed to be there. then that should be enough money to take care of the parking lot and keeping it free for surfers. but since nobody currently enforces the law, we have problems like this. so many times when the waves are flat, i still can’t find parking. so one part of me would rather pay and be able to find a parking, rather then to let everybody else take advantage of the broken system. that’s just my opinion….

Korea? Why not?
for every person in Japan, there should be absolutely no reason not to visit Korea. you can simply jump on a $30 flight and land in a country with some of the best food in just an hour and a half.
there are so many LLC airlines flying all day long and the planes are usually empty. so yeah, to jump on a flight for a day just the eat in Korea is weil worth it.
my mouth starts to water once i see the city. i know there are so many cheap and good places to eat right there…
first stop is a healthy and spicy reimen. this cost $15 in Hawaii but less than $5 here. and tastes much better here too…
then the big and juicy shumai goes well with the noodles. the best shumai in the world!
and instead of Dunkin Donuts, you can find freshly made donuts right along the streets. i can’t believe how much i’m eating already. i walk, eat, sleep, eat, walk, eat, and eat, and eat. so no, i didn’t come here for shopping or plastic surgery, i came here only to eat. so that’s what i’m doing!
