very happy to see Oshima-san back in Hawaii surfing with his son Renta-kun.  the boys having fun in the sun… i am very impressed every time i see Renta-kun.  he’s becoming more confident, more cool, and more better… and more good looking.  he turned from a kid into a fine young man in just a couple months living here in Hawaii.   Oshima-san is always cool.  today the waves were small so we decided to ride long waves on a long board, rather than struggle on a short board.  great choice! and great smile… 4 years ago, Oshima-san told me it was his dream to be able surf with his son.  well, that dream has come true!   after all those big days of surfing this Summer, Renta-kun told me days like today are super easy for him.  and he made it look easy too… if you have the right board for the right day, you will get the right wave… thank you boys for the wonderful surf session.  when your dreams come true, mine does too!

i just love taking photos when i’m in the ocean.  and when i come home and see results like this, i love it even more.  Salina @ Bowls…Toda-san is working and working.  working and working so he can foil and foil.  this looks so fun!Yuri-san is cooking and cooking.  cooking and cooking so we can all enjoy her dishes…omg, i could eat this whole plate of tsukimono.  all i need is rice and miso soup…i can’t wait to go to Niwa again!  hopefully very soon…this is the Satellite City Hall at Ala Moana Shopping center.  this is were you have to go to register your car, motorcycle, and other vehicles.  usually it’s very crowded and you have to wait in line for hours.  yesterday, there was nobody!!!  i was in and out in 5 minutes.  lucky me…the registration for my motorcycle was $100.  parking was free and will always be free anywhere i go… beautiful shells are always free.  you just have to know where to look in this big ocean… in Iran, this guy got caught for stealing.  so for his punishment, they simply just cut off his fingers.  if they cut off fingers for thieves in Hawaii, it would be a better place…
