thanks to Rikita-san, i’m going to give you some information for surfboard charges on ANA airlines.  if you take 1 longboard, it will cost $200 each way.   and if you take a shortboard, it will cost you $150 each way.  that’s $350 and there is no way around that!  oh wait, maybe there is!

if you’re a surfer, you become street smart.  the reason is surfers will do anything to travel cheaper.  i’ve been doing it all my life and saved tens of thousands of dollars with surfboard excess baggage.  so the trick is, “why not wrap both boards together and make it as one?”  that’s right!  so Rikita-san just saved $150.  smart surfer man!

the last time i traveled, i paid an extra $175 just for my foil!  so this time, i made sure it will fit perfectly in my suitcase.  just like this…

now it’s free!  so i’ll never have to pay $350 for a round trip just for my foil.  lucky me!

from Honolulu to Denpasar.  takes couple days to get there so here we go!i finally got to see the new ANA airplane.  heard it’s huge in there!  can’t wait to fly on one…look what Delta has for a gift!  i needed another travel case so perfect timing.i looked on the menu and saw lasagna!  my favorite!  i usually don’t eat airplane food but this i couldn’t pass up.newborn surfer:  Leia-chan is going to be hanging ten like Kelia Moniz!  congratulations mommy Toshimi-san with your new princess! newborn surfer:  and this big boy Keahi Moniz will be pulling into huge Pipeline barrels just like his dad.  congratulations Kaira on your new little brother!
