Boot Camp continues for the boys.  this morning, we went to surf the Bowls lefts and it was super good!  Nori-san full speed! Rikita-san got his new board and he was loving it!  can’t believe he’s riding a 5’11!  i just love riding behind and enjoying the same view. Nori-san on a perfect Bowls left.  look how smooth the wall is! perfect for a nice off the lip. good surfing Nori-san! Rikita-san going backside.  super nice bottom turn! had an amazing session boys.  good to see you guys going up a level in your surfing! Rikita-san asked me if this is a similar view when in the barrel.  i told him, “yes, the this is the exact same view.  now our next goal is to get this man in a real barrel!after lunch, we tried to go around the island.  just from Haleiwa to Laniakea it took us 45 minutes and we were still stuck in traffic!  everybody knows i don’t like traffic because i feel like it’s a total waste of time.  i’d rather be in a barrel.  haha.  so i made a u-turn and we left the North Shore.  and i will never ever drive out there after lunch again.  it’s a waste of time for everybody…

got an email with beautiful photos from Matsu.  it was their last trip to Tohoku.  can you guess what and where this is?  beef tongue in Sendai!   OMG, so happy to see Kiku-chan!  and so happier to see her big smile!then it was off to Ishinomaki with Super Woman Naomi-san!  just by looking at this photo, i got power!  omg, i’m so jealous!  the food in Ishinomaki is so fresh and delicious! BBQ at Naomi-san’s house?  now i’m jealous… i’m allergic to shrimp, but i’ll take my chance and eat this shrimp. and the festival at Shirohama begins!  good to see so many people back on the beach. the first time i saw one of these events, i was in awe.  it was amazing. the local fisherman laying out a net and bringing in the seafood for the kids. and as you can see, the kids are super stoked!  Toda-san has been a huge supporter of We Are One from the beginning.  and still is… OMG, i want to jump into that nabe and eat everything!!!  Hi Naomi-san.  i wanted to say that you keep on inspiring me every day.  you are one of the most strongest women i’ve ever met.   i’ve always thought that from the day i met you 8 years ago.   i miss you guys so much and hope i can make it back to Ishinomaki very soon.  We Are One!
