Safety Surfing

so stoked to surf with the boys on some shortboards. this is Genki-kun’s first wave and he ripped it hard!

for only 2 years experience, this kid is super good!

and to be able to smile and surf at the same time is great. it shows confidence and poise…

Father and Son enjoying a perfect wave at Bowls…

Mizoguchi-san practiced on the longboard so when he came down to the shortboard, it was pretty easy for him.

riding long and perfect waves.

thank you boys for the amazing time! so stoked to longboard and shortboard with you guys. keep on ripping!

when i tell people to spread apart in the ocean, some don’t know why i’m saying that. maybe because they don’t see things like this? well, i see it all the time and i don’t want anybody who surfs with me to get hurt. so for this example, luckily Father and Son were at a safe distance. if not, somebody would have getting stabbed by a flying surfboard. ouch! good safety surfing guys…

Record Hawaiian Body Heat?

had another blazing hot Summer day with another super cool family. 13 year old Soushi-kun riding the longest waves of his life. this kid surfed super good from his first wave till his last.

Fujita-san came to the outside and caught some nice sets. the waves and smiles were amazing!

16 year old Yuuji-kun is a super strong kid. if he keeps on surfing, he’s going to be a power surfer!

super fun surfing with the boys! the waves and conditions couldn’t have been any better.

guess who caught the set of the day? yup, Soushi-kun! look at this kid go! i told him to keep looking forward so i don’t think he knew how big this wave was? haha.

big wave, big smile…

Fujita-san feeling very comfortable after a few waves. surfed his last few waves so perfectly.

Yuuji-kun pays rugby so i wouldn’t want him tackling me. i still can’t believe how strong this kid is.

then spent a wonderful time eating poke for lunch. thank you Fujita-san, Jun-san, and boys for the super fun morning!

i’ve had a temperature gauge in the truck for 7 years and this is the first time it hit 35 degrees! omg, it was so hot today!!! surfed this afternoon and got super good waves, and super good sunburn. photos coming later…

checked Diamond Head right before dark. even though the waves were good and i love to foil, my body told me “slow down, go home, and cool down.” i listened to my body…

Polished Fried Rice

this is as clean as a boat can ever get. absolute beauty…

i have a VHF in Mayuki but never used it before. i guess you can say that’s good right? anyway, i was playing with it to figure it out. still can’t figure out how it works. haha.

isn’t nature so amazing? look at these beautiful photos taken by professionals. this one looks like it came out of a movie.

and yes, nature showing her love to us. this should be the National Geographic Photo of the Year…

Saori-san is in Ise enjoying the surf…

and enjoying the food. when i saw this, i got so jealous that i didn’t even want to reply to her. haha.

for me, i looked in my refrigerator and took out ingredients to make this delicious fried rice. i’ve been making my fried rice like this since my college days. and that will never change because i love it!
