Yesterday and Today: Same or Samasama

IMG_0899
wanted to welcome Naoka to hawaii. going to be a great learning experience for him living the life here and learning english, aloha, and how to be on time. haha. i’m afraid hawaiian style might make him even more late.
IMG_0901
riding a moped is the cheapest way of transportation in hawaii. be careful dude! look forward!
IMG_0913
spent the past 2 evenings in the ocean surfing and just enjoying nature. it’s been so beautiful!
IMG_0907
getting ready for the sunrise is always exciting. a different sunset every single day of the year.
IMG_0923
yellow flash? being in the ocean and watching the sun set as another day goes by is like peace in heaven.

TSSC shaper Chris Kaysen from california shaped me this single fin about 12 years ago. i ride it about 1x per 3 years and love it. it’s not for sale so if you want one, you have to order your own. this is the kind of board you have to have in your collection.
IMG_0916
believe it or not, it paddles easy, it turns easy, and rides like a cadillac. 5’8 single fin just like the one i started surfing with.
IMG_0935
and today i did the same thing. go surf in the evening, and watch the beautiful sunset. the waves were so fun!

another day goes by. it’s already november and time is going by pretty fast. enjoy life to the fullest! good night from hawaii.

Panorama NOW!

So beautiful again!!!

check out Yuko-chan’s costume. she’s a japanese amasan. cool! haha.
IMG_0893
then went for a walk down waikiki. tried to focus on japanese celebrating halloween here in hawaii. it’s become a big thing for japanese tourists and hawaii is the best place in the world for halloween. cool costumes.
IMG_0879
another group. i can tell it’s japanese because of the “peace” signs. cool!
IMG_0869
and no, this girl in the bikini wasn’t japanese. i know because japanese don’t dress like this and walk down waikiki at night no matter what.
IMG_0877
some american’s in the house.
IMG_0882
of the tens of thousands of people, there were also drunk people. this guy stopped in the middle of the most packed sidewalk and started throwing up. he was so drunk and i actually thought it was part of his act. then when i seen him throwing up over and over, i knew it was real. people were freaking out. kids and everything. it wasn’t that cool to see.
IMG_0887
after his friends carried his limp body off the sidewalk, the crowded started to walk all over the barf. it was absolutely disgusting!!!
IMG_0888
more japanese tourists enjoying halloween in hawaii.
IMG_0875
some of my friends enjoying the night. can you spot Reid, Yuko-chan, Maki-san, and Taka-san in this photo?
IMG_0867
the cutest kid costume had to go to my grand nephew. he is sooooo cute!!!
IMG_0896
and yes, this was me. i bought this mask in japan and luckily nobody else in hawaii had one. i scared a few kids walking down the street but it was all good. i seen so many of my friends on the street and was just playing with their minds. i would bother them and walk away. they had no idea it was me. haha. and yes, i stuck out my tongue out all night long. haha. happy halloween from hawaii!
