Heaven on Earth

wow, what a long flight from HNL to SFO. i get on my united flight and couldn’t believe how small my seat was. i was in economy and the flight was full. no leg room, no elbow room, and no flat seat. i was so tried and wanted to sleep but couldn’t. 5 hours later, i’m getting off the flight with a stiff neck, sore back, and no sleep. Kyle told me “welcome back to the real world.” haha. i thought to myself “i don’t like the real world anymore.” haha. just joking. i just don’t remember the seats being so small. but here at San Fran airport waiting to get on another small seat to Los Cabo. hopefully i’ll get some sleep.
traveling with a cool Red Sea group. feeling relaxed, no stress, and everybody anxious to get into the water. it’s a long trip there, but once we do our first dive, it will all be worth it.

checking in is always weird at the airport with a case full of spearguns. when they ask, never say gun! say fishing gear. the lady that checked me in was really nice. she kept on calling me “love.” and i felt loved. that’s the aloha we have here in hawaii. nowhere else in the world.

and if this is what heaven looks like, i can’t wait to get there. nature stuff like this fascinates me. makes me want to jump out of the airplane.

we land in SFO earlier and i watch as one of our spear cases opened on the flight. hopefully they put it all back. we shall see.
well, going to board the flight. be in mexico in 3 hours. then a 2 hour drive to where we will stay. stay tuned for photos! viva mexico!

What a beautiful world!!!

Indo Hawaii, Surfer Mama and Daughter, Mountain Gold, and Explore NOW!

wow, caught some awesome waves this morning again! not too crowded and perfect consistent waves peeling a long way. my board is working good, my body is feeling good, and my mind is at a place i want it to be. i can’t describe to you how much i love surfing. it’s my life and everything else goes around it. another satisfying day!

the closest surf point in hawaii that resembles indonesia is Publics outside to the left of waikiki. when you see lines and lines of swell hitting the reef and peeling like this, it means that the waves are long and nice. this is the current amazing south swell!

super happy to surf with Rika-chan the other day. she’s a super good dancer in japan and that’s probably why her balance is amazing. this girl didn’t even fall once. good style, good power, good balance, and good surfer.

Rika-chan’s Mama surfs good too! i like photos like this because you can see the action. riding the wave while the winds are blowing your hair back. beautiful!

how do i balance out a hard day? well, after spending 5-6 hours in the ocean, i jump on the harley and speed up towards the mountains. it is cool, the air is fresh, the smell is amazing, and the sunsets are gold. i pull a beer out of my pocket, open it, and toast to mother nature. thanking her for the wonderful day! then i get bit by hundreds of mosquitos so i speed down the mountain and put kinkan all over my body. haha.
now i’m packed, excited, and ready to take the flight to mexico. just another journey to somewhere i’ve never been before. i’m excited to see the nature, experience the culture, and meet new friends. the diving is just the bonus. yeah, my dream is to spear a marlin, but if that doesn’t happen, it’s ok. i’m just going with the flow, relaxing my mind, and enjoying life. have a wonderful evening!
