i’m so happy to be a grand uncle to another boy! my niece Temari gave birth to this beautiful baby named Matius Fukunaga.

i’m such a lucky guy to have 7 nephews and 2 nieces. plenty of kids to play with and watch grow up.

i took musician Junya to my friends shop called Dan’s Guitars. Junya’s first trip to hawaii, and his first ukulele. we jumped in my car and he started jamming some tunes already. what a talented kid!

diamond head was the biggest spot today. ala moana side was really small but super fun. tomorrow is going to be small again so thinking about going for a quick dive. will have to decide in the morning.

and had lunch with pro cameraman Kenji Sahara. good to see Kenji in hawaii. always happy! hey Kenji, i seen you get some good waves this afternoon at rockpiles. good surfing!
