ok, it’s about that time again for an adventure. i want to surf on my next trip. i want to explore, i want to experience. so i told myself that i will not go to somewhere i’ve already been before. i’m going to try something different, totally different. no, i don’t speak spanish. no, i don’t know where i’m going. and no, please don’t follow me. the other day, i was looking at my world map, along with the world surf forecast. then everything came together! a solid 6-8′ swell forecasted for next week in central america!

i pull up the map, i check the wave forecast and a huge swell is going to hit next week all along the pacific ocean coast of central america. panama? costa rica? el salvador? nicaragua? or guatemala? the swell should catch all of these shores. and being that it is peak summer travel season in america, i’m having a hard time even getting a flight out of hawaii. so today i work until 1pm, then i’m jumping on the harley and heading to the airport with my backpack. i’m going to find a way out of hawaii and to somewhere, or anywhere in central america. i will travel the coast line, i will surf, and i will enjoy the culture. omg, i can’t wait! and if i can’t get a flight out of hawaii, see you at bowls. haha.

this time i’m traveling very light. 2 surf trunks, 3 t-shirts, a towel, and my toothbrush. oh, and my camera. no planning, just going with the flow. i will be mobile and ready for anything. better get going! have a nice day.
