omg, today was such a beautiful day! the weather was perfect, the wind was perfect, and the waves were perfect. perfect for Angela Maki Vernon surf school presented by Go-Naminori! many smiles and many happy faces!

this group was amazing! they came for a yoga/surf retreat. so surf in the morning, and yoga in the afternoon. what a great combination and great balance. i was so happy to see so many happy faces. surfing is the best! namaste!

i want to thank Mami-chan for the gifts from japan. you are very kind and i was so happy to surf with you. keep on surfing, and keep on yoga!
the weather has been absolutely perfect. some crazy rain at times, but 90% paradise. south swell coming up this saturday and going to be staying for a few days. then tuesday a big 5′ south swell. yeah! summer is rolling and so are the waves. see you in the water!

Perfect weather today!

the waves yesterday morning were just perfect! i couldn’t believe how clean it was! no wind, glassy, perfect, and super sunny.

Yoshida-san surfs super good. next year, i’m taking him to Pipeline!

everybody that comes to hawaii to surf just loves it! warm water, blue sky, and perfect surf everyday. i always get super excited paddling out because i know i’m going to get good waves. i’m sure Yoshida-san is thinking the same.

then from super perfect weather in the morning, to a huge storm in the afternoon. the weather these past 2 days has been crazy! from paradise to storm. but hey, we live in hawaii so one hour later, it’s blue sky again!
got a really busy 3 weeks ahead. all kinds of things going on. fast life and loving it. work hard and play harder. see ya!
