good evening, what a beautiful day! the waves were coming up on the north shore but i decided to take saturday, sunday, and monday morning off to catch up on things. first thing was to take care of my baby, my boat. it’s been sitting in the garage neglected and i wasn’t even sure if it was going to start up. so i take it out this morning, everything runs perfect, and of course my speargun is on my boat at all times. so after dinner was in the cooler, i went to pick up my VIP guests for a boat trip surf session.

imagine getting picked up from back door of your condo in a boat. crazy huh? i pull up, we load the boards, and we surf. and after we catch a good long rides, get back in the boat, get dropped off at the backdoor of your condo, and then an old haole lady on the beach yells at you ruining your whole day. haha. i have a question? why are some people so uptight here in hawaii? if you lived here your whole life, you can pretty much say what you please. but if you think you can come over to this beautiful island and complain about every little thing, you should go back to where you came from. why? because this island is all about ALOHA and if you don’t have some, you are not welcomed here. haha. but luckily one of my new years resolution was not to let people bother me. if i’m happy, that’s all that matters. and today, i was happy no nothing else matters!

i seen this video on the web. a huge whale jumping out of the water in tahiti. i was hoping to see whales today but didn’t. and i knew for a fact they weren’t close by because i couldn’t hear them when i was under water. bummer.

did some gopro video yesterday. i tried to walk to the nose but something terrible happened. haha.

i had a great time with Sachie-san yesterday morning. we surfed, we talked, we did some beach yoga, and we ate some good food. a super energetic person that is surfing better and better.

artichoke and cream mushroom soup was the daily homemade special.

and of course, i always order the pastrami sandwich. my favorite!

diamond was looking really good yesterday. waves, whales, and fun!

i’m not always looking at the waves when i check diamond head. i check the water clarity, i check the wind, and i check the swell direction. all looking good so i went home to get my boat ready for a dive/surf.

i went to the chicago concert last night. it brought back so many memories and i really started to miss my old school friends.

journey last month and chicago this month. who’s coming next?
this was my high school senior prom song. i remember all of us slow dancing this night away. then i dropped off my date and partied all night with the boys. haha. but we were kids so everything was ok. enjoy! you’re the inspiration!
