i think it is awesome when you teach kids how to take care of the ocean. beach cleanups are routine in japan before or after contests or schools. if every surfer takes home one piece of rubbish a day, our beaches will be much cleaner. good job kids!

i can’t wait till the day the kids can play at their own beaches in fukushima.

i was super stoked to see the kids smiling. and i was super stoked to see so many of my friends supporting this event. to the organizers: good job and keep on moving forward! to my friends: you guys make me proud to be your friends. keep on supporting tohoku! surfing lives on forever!
