ever dream of staying on the top of waikiki? ever dream of living on the top of waikiki? well, your dream can now come true!!! want to rent? or want to buy? now’s your chance!!!
a good friend of mine owns a palace on the top of waikiki. i’m pretty sure he doesn’t want to be identified so i’ll just call him by his club name, Mr. Hall. haha. anyway, when the opportunity came up for an elegant go-naminori party featuring one of hawaii’s best iron chefs, there couldn’t have been a better place. i made the call to Mr. Hall, and the rest is history….

you walk in, and your in the huge living room overlooking waikiki, diamond head, and the pacific ocean….

as for the kitchen, chef craig sako and assistant shaden couldn’t have been happier….

this is the second room, right where i woke up the next morning…. how did i get there? i still don’t know…

this is the master bedroom, right where naoka woke up. eeh? he got the master room, and i got the small one? what’s going on????

2 years ago we did a big go-naminori party on the north shore. this year we did it in town. why? because i wanted to take everybody out of the north shore world and brighten them up with the beautiful bright lights of waikiki. and also wanted to see everybody looking fine and at their best! it was wonderful, it was memorable, and i can’t wait till the next one. thank you all again for your support for go-naminori. and thank you Mr. Hall for your generosity. SURF YOUR DREAM….

Amateur to Champion in 3 years!!!

after seeing nao omura grow into a fine young lady, and a champion surfer, i’m curious to see how many titles she can win. great style, and great power makes a great surfer. Go-Nao!!!
i drove to kugenuma one day in 2008 to have lunch with nao. back then, she was 15 years ago with big dreams. i shot a little interview and while i was talking to her, i could see a young confident, smart, and happy girl. now it’s 3 years later and she’s still confident, smart, and happy. and to add to that, the 2010 JPSA women’s champion and Rookie of the year. check out the young nao omura…
