as a surfer, my dream was to be on a cover of a magazine. as a photographer, my dream was to have my photo used on a cover of a magazine. all i have to say is that i exceeded my biggest dreams as both. i’ve been strolling around waikiki a lot recently and pass by this magazine that is everywhere you look. it’s been on the streets for the past 2 months and thousands are circulating around the world. LeaLea Magazine is one of the biggest tourist magazines in hawaii and the quality is exceptional. 4 months ago, Tiare Thomas, Angela Maki Vernon, and I jumped into my car, drove to the most secluded beach on oahu, and took a few photos. did i know it was going to be used on a cover at that time? no. so now you can just imagine how happy i am!!!!

then i open it and find out they used another photo of mine for the opening spread!!! i want to thank LeaLea Magazine for choosing my photos, i want to thank Tiare Thomas for the great hair, make up, and styling job, and i want to thank Angela Maki Vernon for being so beautiful and easy to shoot. my job was the easiest… this one is going in my portfolio!!!
