yukiko told me that she wanted to see turtles. i know just where they are. you can touch them, feed them, ride them, or just swim with them. i hope nobody finds this place because i can imagine tour busses pulling up to here. please keep this place a secret if you know about it. and no, it’s not laniakea. thanks…

we’ve been pretty lucky these days with surprise south swells. at a time of year when the south shore is supposed to be flat, flat it is not….

most full time workers in hawaii get off at 4:30 pm everyday. that means you can be in the water at 4:45 pm. just throw on your shorts and jump in. isn’t that cool? only in hawaii….

when ever i have my mask on, i’m looking for 2 things. fish, and shells. got these yesterday….

good evening. bowls, north shore, to diamond head. another beautiful day in hawaii. surf, dive, and shoot. that’s the kind of day i love….

taking yukiko around today made me realize something. she made me realize that there is another more energetic person in this world than me. last night at 8 pm, she went surfing waikiki in the dark, this morning at 5 am, she ran to diamond head, hiked to the top, and ran back to waikiki, then i picked her up at 8:30 am and we surfed bowls for 3 hours. then we drove to the north shore and swam with the turtles for 2 hours, then we came back to waikiki in the evening. and not one time taking a nap. if anybody knows how to maximize their vacation time, it’s yukiko!

is it summer? diamond head had 100 guys out this evening. no parking anywhere…. more photos coming tomorrow….
