What Do You Think????

good evening. it’s just been picture perfect here in hawaii this summer. sunny skies and perfect waves. i’m only here for another week until i go to another paradise, okinawa!!! i’m getting excited as i hear of typhoon season starting. i can’t wait!!! i’m going to work hard this week so i can play hard in okinawa…. yeah!!!!

this is what i mean about playing. jumping in the deep blue okinawan ocean, loading up, see the mahi mahi’s on the outside, and imagine how it’s going to taste that evening while watching the sunset sipping on orion beers. what do you think???
ok, i finally downloaded the photos off my dig. camera. i got a new one and was excited to see the outcome. umm…. what do you think???

i have a macro setting on the camera that lets me take close ups like this. what do you think???

i also can use the telephoto lens and zoom in like this. i shot this from across the channel at point panic, which was pretty far. i didn’t realize that was shun going in for an evening session so i’m stoked that was him in the photo. is he determined? focused? or cold? what do you think???

here are my deaf friends from japan. all nice people and good surfers. think they had a great time in paradise? what do you think???
**and last, i wanted to give credit where credit should be given. i got an email from somebody from the deaf surf championships that wanted me to acknowledge other people that made that event such a success. i also want to congratulate: Ray, Flo, Paul, Jen, Kaimi, Hank, and Ota-san, who sponsored the event. i know how hard it is to organize such an event so wanted to say “OTSUKARESAMA DESHITA”….. GREAT JOB!!!

Hawaii Rainbow…

WOW, NICE DAY!!!!

Kanemitsu's Bakery in Molokai….

good morning. 6:15 am on this sunny tuesday morning. hey, the waves are looking good. bowls is chest high and perfect! not too many guys out now. it’s going to be a great day for surfing!! i’m out of here… have a nice day….

kanemitsu’s bakery is the most famous bakery in molokai. well, maybe because it’s the only bakery in molokai. the sweet bread is so good and runs out in no time. the whole island of molokai goes there to buy the bread. that’s old school style and i like it….

i was at china town the other day looking at the mangos and avocados. it’s so expensive these days. when we were kids, i we use to go pick them for free. i don’t remember who’s yards we took it from but it was free… haha…

my surfboards, diving equipment, camera equipment, and computer weights a ton. i get hassled every time i check in for excess baggage. check-in is the worst part of traveling. and i ain’t looking forward to my next trip because i have even more things to take….

and last, i really miss molokai already. picking opihi’s, diving, surfing, bbq, and just enjoying old hawaii. i can’t wait to go back there again….
