Legend surfer Chuck Andrews has been with Dove Wetsuits for the past 30 plus years.  the wetsuit on the left was custom made over 25 years ago and he still uses it everyday.  the wetsuits on the right are new ones that will last him another 25 years.  that goes to show you the quality of Dove.  nothing compares…

when i was in Chucks garage, i saw this 8’6 Pipeline gun hanging from his wall.  i told him “I WANT THAT BOARD!!  I’LL BUY IT RIGHT NOW!!!”  he said “NO WAY!”  haha.  so i’m going to order my own custom 8’6 Pipeline gun from Chuck next week!  i feel like paddling into a 20′ wave with this board.  should be easy!  

i stress to my students that if you want to be a very good surfer, you have to be able to ride anything on any given day.  most surfers can’t do that so we train hard to do the almost impossible.  try to ride a 9’2 classic longboard on one wave…

then a 5’10 high performance short board on the next wave.  not too many people can connect to board, ocean, and oneself that easily.  this young girl already has it mastered!

旅行の必須条件が毎日変わるから、ハワイのみんなにも最新のルールをアップデートしようと思う。2022年4月4日付で、インドネシアや日本へ行きたければ、フライトの出発48時間前にPCRテストでの陰性証明が必ず必要となる。リサーチの結果、このビルでPCRテストを受けるのがベストだと思った。

Longsを過ぎてビルに入る。

エレベーターで３階へ。

319号室へ行く。このビルには他のPCRテストセンターがあるけど、ここがベスト。なぜって？ 結果判明まで12時間待たなくても、ここなら15分で済むから。

小さな部屋に入ったら、とても親切な2人の日本人女性が対応してくれる。久しぶりに最高の対応をしてもらった。鼻のなかを浅く綿棒でこすられたけど、痛くなかった。部屋の外で待ち、15分後に結果を受け取りに戻る。

やった、陰性!  omg, 実はけっこう緊張してた。とにかく、バリや日本に入国するにはこれを見せる必要があるんだ。

名刺をもらったから、見てね。僕は予約せず、いきなり行った。用紙に記入して、検査するのにかかった時間は5分。

PCRテストは160ドル。

とりあえず、まだ外国人観光客は日本に入国ができない。もしインドネシアに入国したいなら、バリ島はかならず通過しなければいけない！ジャカルタには行くことができないんだ！これからもいろいろな情報を教えてあげるよ。状況は毎日変わるから、明日どうなるかは分からない。だけど、これから僕は２本の長時間フライトに搭乗予定だ。楽しみだな…
