good morning. junk waves around the island. kind of bumpy looking in the ocean. onshore winds coming soon. north shore looks 2′ and town is almost flat. christmas is in 8 days? really??? so dam fast. i still didn’t get my christmas tree yet. and i heard they are all sold out? i might have to go to the halekulani hotel late at night and borrow theirs. i saw a nice one in their lobby. haha. heard japan is freezing cold. please keep warm. when japan gets cold, that’s good news for us here in hawaii. yup, big north/west swell in 5-7 days. as for now, i’m going to enjoy this holiday season because that’s what it’s all about. have a great day!!!
oh, yeah. my ukulele is awesome. now all i need is lessons. can somebody teach me how to play??? haha…

the beach hotel located in the city of chatan is where i always stay when i’m in okinawa. why? it’s right in front of the surf spot sunabe sea wall, the rooms are super clean, the staff are really kind and friendly, and my hummer is parked there. my friend takahashi-san’s a surfer/diver/owner and a great guy to work for. i heard there are offering job opportunities now. imagine working in okinawa and living the mensore life. if i was stuck somewhere in japan working and had the opportunity to live in okinawa, i would take it in a heartbeat. in fact, i’m thinking about getting a summer job there in 2010. i’d love to drive the boat, dive, surf, and give tourists the welcoming snake sake drink and watch their eyes roll.. haha.. good food, good people, good life. that’s okinawa!!!

last night was pool tournament night. john, bobby, and i were playing cut throat. it’s a game where we are all assigned balls and the object of the game is to shoot the other guys balls in. the guy who has balls left is winner. it’s a pretty serious game but when you play with friends like mine, it’s all about having fun. the object of the game is just to win!! so when the other guy isn’t looking, grab his balls and put it in the hole…. haha…

today was a heavy workout day for me. it started in the gym for 1 1/2 hours, then a 1 hour run around waikiki. it was so hot that i thought i was going to pass out….

i stopped by the sheraton hotel and seen the coolest thing. since when did they make a infinity pool? i wanted to jump in….

running around waikiki, you see things that you never thought existed. check out this cool park. might have to go barbecue there sometime…
