it still amazes me how many surfers are in the water since this coronavirus.  i’ve been bumping into friends i haven’t seen for decades.  now we’re all back together enjoying the ocean like teenagers.  it’s wonderful!i can’t believe i’m actually surfing on my foil.  it feels wonderful!   and i can’t believe the kind of wipeouts i have.  it feels wonderful too! haha…

another wonderful sunrise foil session 5 minutes away from my house.  the waves were perfect once again!can you believe the hurricane is coming tomorrow?  this is “the calm before the storm.”  when i was living in Japan chasing typhoons, i would freak out on how hot it would get the day before the typhoon hits.  today was hotter than ever.i was tying down and securing Mayuki today.  one of the workers said “wow, you’re the only guy that came down today to secure your boat.”  he wasn’t joking.  i didn’t see any other boat owner down there.  i’m pretty sure some boats will come loose when the 80mph winds come. stay tuned…
